The Journey
Where Am I? It’s a question we all must ask ourselves.
I know personally, I’m not where I want to be, but thank God I’m not where I used to be! Over the last few months, I’ve questioned God more than ever in my life, but here I find myself again, knowing and believing that He is good. Even when I question, doubt and fail Him, I am reminded He is the ONLY one who fulfills me. I’ve been on a personal journey over the past 2 years, and it hasn’t been easy. I’ve learned a LOT and still have a lot to learn. I want to share a few lessons about healing that I’ve learned along the way. If you find yourself hurting, angry, lonely, exhausted, bitter, lost or just being tired of feeling stuck, I want to encourage you to begin your own journey towards healing and wholeness. I don’t know how to do it apart from Christ- so just start there. He sees us, knows us and wants to walk this journey with us.
Healing requires an intentional choice.
Healing requires a belief that it’s possible.
Healing is nonlinear.
Healing takes time and comes in layers.
Healing can be painful.
Healing requires vulnerability and risk.
Healing requires honesty with ourselves and others.
Healing requires accountability.
Healing requires self care and self love.
Healing is worth the work.
If you feel alone, remember that you are not. Your pain matters. Your story matters.
God loves you❤️
